Maybe something like the weakest record team gets to pick first so on, some coaches work and don`t have the opportunity to pick up a player...maybe a schedule time to pick, not sure but it makes a strong team get stronger over an owner that can`t get to a FA right then...

I think FAs should be locked once that players game has started that week - like how most other leagues work. Open regularly during the week though.

You cannot release a player currently in your lineup Ronmexico. But, if you wish to pick up a player through Free Agency and are releasing a player that is not in your current lineup - that is fine.

Since you cannot place a player in your lineup once their game has started, there is no possibility to put someone in that is having a good game and get credit for that day's performance.

With that said, it is common place for managers to pick up players having a good game so they can use them in future lineups :-) We're all diehard football fans, so I think we're all watching stats and players during their games.

I have some thoughts on this for another time. But 'Waiver Wire' strikes me best. Players released cannot be picked up for a minimum of 24 hours. Multiple teams can make a request and the team with the worst record (and highest waiver wire ranking) get the player after the 24 hour period (unless you are the #1 waiver wire ranking - then you get the player immediately).

This would take some work to build the system, but I'm definitely looking for input on something like that. Once a players has been unclaimed for 24 hours, it's 'first come-first serve'.

We could couple that with Transaction Emails (by conference), so you know when the 24 hour clock starts on a player.

Thoughts??
